Meet this month’s Rebels:
Jason Ashlock is Senior Vice President of Customer + Employee Experience at Kuehne + Nagel, where he looks after organizational development, cultural platforms, service transformation, and Future of Work. His job is to make sure the 85,000+ employees at Kuehne + Nagel are working in an environment that ignites their passions, celebrates their successes, and illuminates their stories so they can create extraordinary experiences for the customers whose precious cargo they carry. His interests include understanding how humans make decisions and form habits, how they make sense of those decisions in real-time and retrospect, and how leaders can help guide and better those behaviors with authenticity.

Margaret Lynch currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations for the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. (FDIHB) on the Navajo Nation. Beginning her career in Human Resources as an HR Generalist, Margaret has over 20 years of Human Resources and Executive Leadership experience with 11 of those years dedicated to supporting healthcare on the Navajo Nation. As an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, she is the first candidate to complete FDIHB’s Mentorship Advancement Program, an executive level mentorship program that resulted in subsequent promotions. Margaret is first and foremost a champion for delivering relevant and essential healthcare to the Navajo communities she serves.

Bob Gerst understands how HR can help people grow and make companies more successful. He started as an auditor and then joined a global construction/property management company as the first professional HR executive, where he had the opportunity to create and mature a sophisticated HR service delivery model. He’s now president of his own company, HR Transitions, and the VP of HR at John I. Haas, one of the largest hop producers in the world. His specialties include structuring and implementing goal oriented HR/business processes, developing people, talent management and executive coaching, developing HR strategies, and driving cultural integration.
