Ryan became the first Advisor for LifeGuides back in March of 2017 and currently provides the Company with strategic direction for Sales, Marketing and Partnerships. He has a deep connection to the LifeGuides mission as he has gone through 2 major life challenges and served as a caregiver for 2 different family members.
Ryan has been online since 1991 and has extensive experience with digital strategy, digital marketing, social, adtech, email and B to B sales. He founded Travel Spike in 2001 as the very first Travel Ad Network® which is now the leading travel media platform reaching over 200 million unique travelers per month. He guided a turnaround for LastMinuteTravel.com after the company ran out of funds. Ryan was able to maintain existing clients and revenue with only 14% of the original staff. He worked with past and new Board members to recapitalize the company and bring on a new management team. He built AirTran.com back in 1998 which Salomon Smith Barney ranked as the #1 airline website based on percentage of online sales. He was promoted 3 times in 3 years at US Airways where he managed $675 million in revenue for the international region. Ryan has spoken at many industry conferences and been featured on MediaPost, ABC Radio and Business Talk Radio. He attended Wake Forest University where he received his degree in Economics.
